5. Under The Lights

When Was The First World Series Scheduled As A Night Game?

9 Things You Might Not Know About Baseball

The first game ever played “under the lights” was a local game played in 1880 in Nantasket Bay, Massachusetts.

Game 4 of the 1971 World Series was the first scheduled World Series game to be played at night.
