MISSION
Providing college recruitment services to high school players from high poverty and low-income areas of Missouri. Our players are selected by merit, passion and work ethic regardless of their family’s financial status. We train our student-athletes in leadership, ACT prep, mental aspects of the game, scholarship submissions, social media branding and baseball skills. We provide them the opportunity to participate in college showcases, college tours, college coach interaction and community service.

SERVICES SHOULD BE FREE because
College Exposure should be based on Talent not Pocketbook

2019 ACTION ITEMS
Field Three Teams: Jr Babe (15U) Ruth, 16U Showcase and Sr Babe Ruth (16-19 years old) with a maximum of 45 players. Compete in the Missouri Babe Ruth State Tournaments with hopes to continue on to Midwest Plains Regionals and the Babe Ruth World Series. Compete at five prominent college showcase tournaments and maximize exposure to players.

Community Service: sponsoring the MLB Jr Home Run Derby and MLB Pitch, Hit and Run competitions in our areas.
Provide our players instruction and training thru online courses and team meetings:
-
Being community-service minded
-
Leadership on and off the field
-
Mental aspect of the game
-
ACT prep and scholarship help
-
Social media Interaction
-
Successful media interviews

Baseball skills

JUCO and NAIA Coaches in our Dugout: At each of our showcase tournaments, we will hire a coach from that area to be our head coach for the weekend. This will provide great exposure of our players to five different college programs.
FieldLevel: help each player develop a strong FieldLevel account with video and player information. Work with each player to develop a strategy and select target schools. Help each write a unique letter of interest.

Online Sports Mentor: OSP uses former MLB players and coaches to train in leadership, mental aspect of the game, and social media brand.

Increase our connectivity with other Cardinal Owner Families through the "Cardinals Legacy Club: Owners"

College Tours: knowing what is available is an important part of selecting a college. On each of our tournament weekends, we’ll tour a college and meet with their baseball staff.
