9 Things You Might Not Know About Baseball

Oldest Active Ballpark in the MLB Changes View From Green Monster

Fenway Park, the home for the Boston Red Sox since 1912, is the oldest ballpark in MLB. The park has been renovated or expanded many times but the Green Monster has been in left field since the start. Fenway is the fourth-smallest MLB ballpark.

The Green Monster has had different “seat” configurations over the years: Seats in front of the monster; no seats at all; and, now, seats on top of the monster.
